History & story

Originally built in 1903 as part of Edinburgh’s central railway station, rooms at the luxury hotel each have a flat-screen TV, a luxurious bathroom with designer toiletries, and fluffy bathrobes, as well as unobstructed views of Edinburgh Castle. Guests can enjoy access to the Waldorf Astoria Spa, including an array of luxurious treatments, as well as a steam room, sauna, whirl pool, swimming pool and gym. Peacock Alley now offers afternoon tea, while The Caley Bar provides bar food, drinks and tastings for guests and the general public. There is also an award-winning restaurant, Grazing by Mark Greenaway
